Heka Acoustic tile Geo
Geo is a system of geometric tiles in PET felt: hexagon, circle, rhombus, triangle and square. Out of them you build a pattern that reads as wall graphics and works as an absorber at the same time.
The tiles are light, so you fix them without drilling, with adhesive pads or magnetic brackets, and rearrange them whenever you want. They suit reception areas, corridors, corners for informal meetings and video conference rooms.
We supply them in sets of 6, 12 or 24 pieces and in ten colours, so you can bring your brand colour onto the wall without losing the acoustic function.

Technical data — Geo
Materials and construction
Material: 100% polyester (PET felt), according to supplier data with at least 60% recycled content from used plastic bottles. The panels are fully recyclable.
Density: 9 mm approximately 1,900 g/m², 12 mm approximately 2,400 g/m², 24 mm from 3,500 to 4,000 g/m².
Fire classification: EN 13501-1, class B-s1,d0 as certified by the supplier (individual batches B-s2,d0 — the certificate for the specific batch is enclosed with the delivery).
Emissions: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and REACH, formaldehyde-free, low emissions of volatile organic compounds.
Thickness: 12 mm. Module: 400 mm, rhombus 300 × 520 mm. The 24 mm version on request.
Acoustics and absorption
The tiles are made of 12 mm PET felt. Glued directly to the wall (ISO 354:2003) they reach αs 0.00 / 0.05 / 0.22 / 0.49 / 0.71 / 0.94 at 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz, which is αw 0.25, class E, and NRC 0.40.
With a 200 mm air gap the NRC of the same panel rises to 0.70, and with 50 mm of rock wool behind it to αw 0.90, class A.
A fair warning: as a rule the tiles cover only part of a wall, so their effect is proportional to the area covered. Ten tiles will not calm a large meeting room. They are, however, a sensible solution for smaller rooms, corners and walls where full cladding is too heavy an intervention. When the aim is a measurable drop in reverberation time, combine the tiles with ceiling acoustics.
The values quoted come from the data sheets for the PET felt, measured to ISO 354:2003 and ASTM C423-22 respectively and classified to ISO 11654:1997. They apply to this material in this thickness with the installation described. For a specific room we prepare a reverberation time calculation based on the floor plan.
Installation
Adhesive pads: enclosed with every set. You press the tile onto the wall, without drilling and without marks on fresh plaster.
Magnetic brackets: the tiles stay removable, so you can build the pattern again when the room changes.
Before installation we recommend laying the pattern out on the floor and checking the gaps. For hexagons a gap of 20 to 40 mm works best, leaving the pattern some air.
The 24 mm thickness and sizes outside the 400 mm module are produced on request.
Care and cleaning
In normal use the felt needs no special care. Vacuum it regularly with an upholstery nozzle or clean it with a soft brush, roughly twice a year.
Remove individual stains with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent, then let the surface air dry. Do not use aggressive cleaners, solvents or steam cleaners.
A damaged panel can be replaced on its own, so there is no need to renew the whole pattern.
Delivery and lead times
Standard sizes: production and delivery 2 to 3 weeks.
Made to measure: 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the size of the order.
Delivery: Slovenia and the EU with our own vehicles or through a forwarder. For larger projects we agree delivery floor by floor and an installation schedule.
Returns: 14 days for standard products, as provided by law. Made-to-measure products are excluded.

Frequently asked questions
How many tiles do I need?
A set of 12 hexagons at 400 mm covers approximately 1.6 m². For a visible effect in a smaller room, count on covering at least 15 to 20 per cent of one wall, and in a meeting room on a combination of wall and ceiling.
Can I combine two colours?
Yes. Order the tiles as two separate sets and arrange them as you wish. For larger patterns we will prepare a layout scheme for you — send the dimensions of the wall to sales@heka-interior.com.
Do they hold on a plasterboard wall?
The adhesive pads hold on smooth, dry and grease-free surfaces, plasterboard included. On a freshly painted wall, wait until the paint has hardened completely, otherwise it can peel off when a tile is taken down.
Is there a thicker version?
Yes, we produce 24 mm on request. A thicker tile covers the speech range better, but it also stands out more in the room, which is why we usually choose it where coverage is smaller.
How do I clean the tiles?
Vacuum them with an upholstery nozzle. Remove stains with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent. A single damaged tile can be replaced without touching the rest of the pattern.

What you get besides the product
Acoustics are a project, not an article. So along with the panels you get a calculation, samples and someone to talk to who also manufactures the product.
Our own production
Cutting to size, edge finishing and final work are done in the Hit Preless plant in Medvode, and we source the felt from proven suppliers. That is why a custom size is the rule here, not the exception.
Recycled PET felt
The material is made from recycled polyester, free of formaldehyde and with low emissions of volatile compounds. At the end of its service life it is recyclable.
Honest figures
We publish absorption without an air gap and with one. The difference between the two classes is made by the installation, not by an advertising figure.

Made in a plant that fits out entire buildings
Heka Interior is a brand of Hit Preless, based in Medvode. In the same plant where bespoke furniture for offices and hotels is built, we also make acoustic cladding. That is why special sizes, lengths and versions are feasible even in small batches.
