Heka furnished the new administrative offices for Loberia d.o.o. in a modern business building on Celovska cesta in Ljubljana. The project included height-adjustable desks, MICHIGAN conference chairs, acoustic panels in a fir wood decor, a custom kitchen with integrated Bosch appliances, and built-in cabinets. A combination of standard and custom-made elements from our KUBO line.

The Brief: What Kind of Space Was Loberia Looking For?

Loberia d.o.o. was moving into a modern office building on Celovska cesta in Ljubljana. They were looking for a supplier who could:

Our Solution: The KUBO Line with Custom Additions

Height-Adjustable Desks in the Administrative Area

All workstations are electrically height-adjustable. The reasons: healthier work (a sit-stand workflow reduces back pain), space flexibility (desks adapt to each individual's height), and a modern brand signal. All our CoreLift models feature a dual electric motor and a 3-year warranty.

Conference Room: MICHIGAN Chairs + Large Table

The meeting room is furnished with MICHIGAN conference chairs—a premium model with black leather and armrests. A conference table measuring 275 × 110 cm accommodates 8-10 people. Acoustic panels in a fir wood decor ensure acoustic comfort during important meetings.

Custom Kitchen with Bosch Appliances

A custom kitchen unit was built to fit the space, with integrated Bosch appliances. Not a classic dining area, but an elegant kitchen station for coffee, short breaks, and informal conversations.

Storage Units: High, Low, Mobile, and Fixed

A combination of high and low cabinets, mobile and fixed drawer units—all tailored to the specific workflow of Loberia's administration. Everything in a unified visual palette.

Acoustic Panels in Fir Wood

Acoustic panels in a fir wood decor add warmth and reduce sound reverberation in the open-plan space. They also serve as a visual element that refreshes the otherwise minimalist space.

Built-in Cabinets and Wall-Mounted Organizer Panels

In the hallways and common areas, we installed built-in cabinets and wall-mounted organizer panels. This ensures optimal use of space without adding extra pieces of furniture.

Why is a Smaller Project Just as Demanding as a Large One?

By Slovenian standards, Loberia is a smaller project, but it requires the same attention to detail as the 1,200-workstation NLB project. The ratio of custom to standard elements is significantly higher—the kitchen must be unique, the cabinets specifically built-in, and the acoustic panels adapted to the room's dimensions.

Smaller projects are not about economies of scale, but about precision and timely coordination. Our own production facility in Medvode gives us flexibility—even for 5-10 pieces of custom furniture, which would be uneconomical for standard suppliers.
