VOLVO Service Center Ljubljana – Equipment for Offices, Waiting Rooms and Reception Areas

For our client, VOLVO d.o.o., Service Center Ljubljana, we furnished the entire office section of the building – from the lobby and customer area to offices, meeting rooms, reception office, and tea kitchens. The project combines office furniture from our collection with custom-made elements, both colour- and material-coordinated with the Volvo identity.

Lobby and customer area

In the ground-floor lobby, we designed a comfortable reception area with NEST lounge armchairs in a striking orange fabric and round coffee tables on a central base. The customer area is complemented by RUBIC one- and two-seater sofas in a combination of dark grey and orange tones, paired with square coffee tables featuring a steel base in dark grey (RAL 7016) and tabletops in beech decor. This creates a pleasant yet visually dynamic waiting area that clearly communicates the colours and character of the VOLVO brand.

Offices and workstations

The offices are equipped with our KM160 work desks, KPN160 partition panels, mobile pedestals, and medium-height and tall cabinets with top cover panels, ensuring organised document storage and a clean overall appearance. Ergonomics are ensured by QUEEN swivel chairs (models SV-165B and SV-223WB with headrest), equipped with a synchro mechanism, aluminium base, and rubber castors, upholstered in durable fabrics (Carabu / Bora in dark grey tones).

Meeting rooms

The meeting rooms are designed as bright, functional spaces with round meeting tables on a central base and FRILL chairs on chrome sled bases, with white shells and upholstered seats in blue fabric. The combination of circular tables, clean chair lines, and a calm colour palette creates a welcoming atmosphere for meetings with employees and business partners.

Reception office and custom-made counter

In the reception office, we created a distinctive custom-made reception counter, composed of several segments, with a two-height design and an angled front. The worktops and upper surfaces are executed in a combination of graphite grey and white laminate, while the front is accentuated by integrated LED lighting above the plinth. Behind the counter, tall cabinets with acrylic doors in high-gloss white and push–pull opening create a clean, almost “monolithic” storage volume. Together with the workstations and QUEEN W chairs, this forms a contemporary, representative front office for welcoming clients.

Lounge and phone niches on the upper floor

On the upper floor, in addition to offices, we arranged lounge niches for seating and phone calls, where we used lounge one- and two-seater elements, high-back armchairs SIXTI, and NEST armchairs in a combination of grey, purple, and green tones. The spaces are complemented by round coffee tables and custom-made side tables, offering employees comfortable microzones for short conversations, focused work, or informal meetings.

Tea kitchen

As part of the project, we also installed a tea kitchen, with upper and lower units, an integrated sink, fittings, cooktop, dishwasher, and under-counter refrigerator. The solution is designed for everyday use, with a logical organisation of storage volumes and durable materials suitable for a service-oriented environment.
