Heka furnished the entire back-office and administrative section of the Meliã Frankfurt City Hotel, a 47-story luxury tower in the heart of Frankfurt. The project included 47 ergonomic chairs, 80+ pieces of office furniture, and 60+ cabinets - supplied, assembled, and installed in-house, precisely for the hotel's opening date.
Starting Point: What Challenge Did Meliã Frankfurt Face?
Meliã Hotels International was opening a new 47-story tower in Frankfurt - an international 4★ hotel in the financial heart of Europe. In addition to public areas (rooms, restaurant, skybar), the hotel also had a complete back-office: offices for management, reception, administration, HR, F&B coordination, security, IT.
They were looking for a supplier who:
- Could supply the entire back-office in one offer (not 5 different suppliers)
- Understood hotel operations and could prepare a space that supports 24/7 operation
- Ensured flexibility for reconfiguration (departments often move in hotels)
- Could execute everything within a strictly limited timeframe before the official opening
- Had experience with international hotel chains

Offices for Management and Administration
All 45+ offices are equipped with a standardized hotel back-office package: a Queen ergonomic chair, a desk with integrated cable management, a drawer unit, a personal storage cabinet, and acoustic panels where needed.
47 Ergonomic Chairs
47 ergonomic chairs in Meliã corporate colors. All feature: synchronous mechanism, adjustable lumbar support, 4D armrests, mesh backrest - a standard European ergonomic package. All our ergonomic chairs comply with BIFMA and EN standards for hotel workstations.
80+ Pieces of Office Furniture
Desks in various dimensions - from basic (1200×600 mm) to executive (1800×900 mm), drawer units, additional storage units.
60+ Cabinets and Storage Units
Tall, medium, and narrow cabinets for documents, uniforms, IT equipment, security materials. Configuration adapted to the specific HR-back-office workflow.
How Did We Coordinate Logistics with the Hotel Opening?
The hotel was opening on a precisely defined date - everything had to be ready weeks before the first guests. Hit Preless GmbH, our subsidiary in München, managed logistics in Germany:
- In-house production in Medvode, Slovenia (all standard equipment)
- In-house delivery with our fleet directly to Frankfurt
- Installation in one intensive phase 10 days before the hotel opening
- Team of German-speaking installers from Hit Preless GmbH
- Direct communication with the Meliã facility manager on-site
